Tony Ferguson Rolled Oats are naturally high in energy and fibre, and a source of protein. Use these large oat flakes to make a flavourful porridge, for baking, or added to muesli or granola. Rolled oats are oat groats that have gone through a steaming and flattening process, with a milder flavour and softer texture. It takes much less time to make, as they have been partially cooked.

SUGGESTED USE:
Stove Top: Add ½ cup (50 g) of oats, 1 cup (250 ml) of water and a pinch of salt to a saucepan. Bring to the boil and allow to simmer for 5, 7 minutes (depending on the required consistency) stirring ocassionally. Remove from heat and allow to stand for a few minutes.
Microwave: In a large bowl, combine ½ cup (50 g) of oats, 1 cup (250 ml) water and a pinch of salt and microwave on high for 3, 5 minutes. Be sure to watch carefully to avoid water boiling over. Allow to stand for 2 minutes. Add toppings such as milk. milk substitutes, honey, seeds, nuts or fruit to taste.
