Tasty Low Calorie Burger Patty: A Healthy Delight
Ingredients
- 250g of lean ground beef
- ¼ cup (30g) of diced onions
- ¼ cup (30g) of diced mushrooms
- 2 cloves of minced garlic
- ¼ cup (30g) of diced bell peppers
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Olive oil spray
Directions
- Start by sautéing the onions, mushrooms, garlic, and bell peppers in a skillet over medium heat until they are tender. Remove from heat and let the mixture cool.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef with the sautéed vegetables. Season with salt and pepper to taste, then mix until well combined.
- Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape each into a patty.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and lightly spray with olive oil. Cook the patties for 4-5 minutes per side or until they are fully cooked through.
- Serve the burgers with your favourite toppings and sides. We suggest a whole wheat bun, lettuce, tomato or a side of veggies, a salad, or sweet potato fries.
