Let's Get Started

We’ll start by calculating your Body Mass Index (BMI) to get a snapshot of your body composition. Our BMI calculator will help you assess if you’re in a healthy weight range, underweight, overweight, or at risk of obesity. What is Body Mass Index (BMI)?

Body Mass Index (BMI) is a number calculated from a person’s height and weight and is used to assess whether a person is underweight, at a healthy weight, overweight, or obese. It is a useful tool to get a quick snapshot of your body composition, although it should be considered alongside other health metrics for a comprehensive assessment.

  • A BMI of less than 18.5 indicates you may be underweight.
  • A BMI of between 18.5 to 24.9 indicates a healthy weight range.
  • A BMI of between 25 and 29.9 indicates overweight, while 30 and above indicates obesity.

The BMI measurement has limitations and shouldn’t be used in isolation, but it is a useful tool to be used as a starting point to get a snapshot of your body composition.

Daily Calorie Needs

The calorie calculator tool uses your individual age, sex, weight, height and level of physical activity to estimate the optimum daily caloric intake you would need to reach your lifestyle goal. Knowing your recommended total daily caloric intake goal can help you to make conscious, informed dietary choices to help you achieve your lifestyle goal.

Track your daily calories consumed (i.e. how many calories in each of the foods you consume) throughout the day and try to align the total consumed with your personalised daily calorie needs goal provided above. If tracking daily calories feels overwhelming, let us simplify it for you. Get your personalized meal plan for free right here.
