MCT Oil Cups – Creamy, Energising & Naturally Sweet
Ingredients
- Tahini Caramel Layer:
- ¾ cup runny tahini
- ⅓ cup Tony Ferguson Pure MCT Oil
- ¼ cup Tony Ferguson Honey
- Dash of Tony Ferguson Cinnamon
- Date Caramel Layer:
- 1 cup brown dates (or ¼ cup honey as an alternative)
- 1 tablespoon tahini (or ⅓ cup tahini for a richer version)
- Splash of milk
- Topping:
- Melted dark chocolate
Directions
- Make the Base Layer: In a saucepan or microwave-safe bowl, melt the tahini, MCT Oil, honey, and cinnamon together until smooth and well combined. Pour about 3-4 tablespoons into each silicone mould and refrigerate for 30-60 minutes until set.
- Prepare the Date Caramel: Blend the dates, tahini, and a splash of milk until smooth. Once the base layer is firm, add 1-2 tablespoons of the caramel mixture to each cup and smooth out the top.
- Finish with Chocolate: Pour melted dark chocolate over each cup and return to the fridge to set completely – about 1 hour.
